Christina Yother is a sustainable fashion designer who was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. She studied fashion design at The Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta and after graduation, showed her first collection at Vancouver Fashion Week. Before launching her namesake brand, she worked as a designer and taught virtual fashion design software classes at SCAD.
At the age of 12, Christina taught herself to sew on her grandmother’s hand me down sewing machine and has been interested in fashion her whole life. Christina grew up watching her mother and grandmother run their own businesses, so she has always had the goal to start her own.
Christina is committed to using sustainable materials and ethical practices in her garments. Her designs are effortlessly elegant and incredibly comfortable. Repurposing with a purpose, Christina recycles her excess fabric into accessories. Profits from those accessories are donated to women’s shelters. Christina wants to expand the fashion industry in Atlanta and the South so she designs her pieces in Atlanta, GA and has them manufactured at a small factory in New Orleans, LA.
